ZUMA SKIS is currently a brand that’s capturing attention in the world of freestyle skiing.
They have been consistently winning gold medals at major international competitions.

The secret to their high-performance lies in the exceptional technology that has been cultivated over nearly 70 years by a renowned Japanese ski manufacturer.
Found of 1953
SWALLOW SKI, with a founding year of 1953 and a strong history of technical prowess, stands proudly.
Established in 1953 in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture, as the predecessor to Iiyama Ski Industries, Swallow Ski began manufacturing skis.

With a history spanning approximately 70 years, it’s a well-established Japanese ski manufacturer. They’ve grown in tandem with the development of Japan’s skiing industry and changed to Swallow Ski Corporation in 1964.
They’ve been actively dedicated to enhancing ski performance.

All Round Brand
In May 1970, when Yuichiro Miura successfully descended Mount Everest, Swallow Ski was used.
In the early 1990s, they participated in the All-Japan Ski Technique Competition, achieving impressive results, showcasing their high-performance due to their remarkable technical expertise.
They solidified their position as a leading Japanese ski brand.
In 1995, they expanded into snowboarding with the brand “ZUMA,” and in 2012, they commenced selling the new freestyle skiing brand “ZUMA SKIS.”
New Brand “ZUMA SKIS”

In the realm of freestyle skiing, ZUMA SKIS is currently the most prominent brand. In 2015, they signed an agreement with Justin Dorey, a top Canadian rider.
One of the models that continues to be available is the “Pro Pipe,” designed for halfpipe skiing.

According to Justin Dorey:
“When I first tried on ZUMA, I found it to be superior to other brands, so I decided to sign with ZUMA.
They create models suitable for freeriding and powder skiing, but the ‘Pro Pipe’ designed for halfpipe stands out.
It offers strong flex and great pop, maintaining high stability even when executing big airs in the pipe.
It stabilizes quickly after landing, allowing you to seamlessly transition to the next air without losing speed. It’s a perfect setup.”

ZUMA SKIS has since signed with Canada’s national team and achieved remarkable performances at major international events such as the X-GAMES and W-CUP. Particularly, female athlete Cassie Sharpe won gold at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics and silver at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
They’ve solidified ZUMA SKIS as a top name on the global stage.
Additionally, they’ve collaborated with the Chinese Freestyle National Team since 2017.
