This Time’s Route: The Southern Alps

In Shizuoka Prefecture, near Shizuoka City, there is the Hatanagi Dam located upstream from the Oigawa Dam and Ikawa Dam.

If you use a mountain lodge, you can take a free bus from the Hatanagi Dam to the trailhead at Sawarajima. This time, we made a reservation at the “Hyakkenboradake Mountain Hut,” so we took the bus to Sawarajima.
